Colour selection means exclusionOnce the preferred ambience has been defined, roughly half of the colours have already been excluded.
In other words, we know whether to use either soft and subdued shades, or rich and pure tints, and so the first colour selection is made.
Generally, the easiest selection method is to systematically exclude colours. As far as interior decoration is concerned, it is best to start with the floor, which offers the most limited range of options.
When the range is reduced to a minimum, the first selection is easier to make. The colours chosen first then indicate the direction for further selections to take.
