For a cool and translucent mood, use cooler-toned colours.

Pine furniture yellowed by age was cleaned and freshened up with light-toned Kiva Furniture Lacquer (3466).

When using tinted lacquers, the colouring of the wood itself contributes to the end result.

Test the lacquer first in an inconspicuous spot.

Use darker shades of lacquer or opaque paint for better results on wood darkened with age.
